Fundraiser FAQs

What is the "Boards to Bucks" Fundraising Program?

Our fundraising program compensates organizations for sharing Chalk Full of Design with their school community. School partners receive a unique purchase link for community members to buy items on our website. The more sales made through the link, the greater the earnings for your organization.

How much can you earn?

There's no limit! That said, each fundraiser has 3 sales tiers. Simply put, the more you sell, the higher the percentage you keep from each sale. $0-$799 in sales nets your organization 15% of sales. $800-$1499 in sales nets you 20% of sales. And sales over $1500 nets a full 25% of sales! For example, if you generated $1500 in sales through your link, you'd earn $375 and all you had to do is share! We ship directly to your supporters and you never have to handle any cash.

How does our school get paid?

Every time someone makes a purchase using your unique fundraising code, you earn money. These funds will equal 15-25% of the sale price (before shipping), depending on the total sales volume. We pay the sum of all your commissions earned on the Friday after the end of your fundraiser directly to you via PayPal.

How long does a fundraiser normally last?

We recommend a 7 day fundraiser period - not too long and not too short. This gives your community time to shop while also incentivizing quick action.

How do we track the amount of money earned during a campaign?

We use a program called Affiliately to track all the commissions you earn. Login and dashboard info for Affiliately is provided to your organization when a fundraiser is set up and you may login and track the progress of your fundraiser whenever you like.

What makes a successful fundraising campaign?

We will provide you with everything you need to share about CFD chalkboards with your community. We are happy to send you a personalized email template, social media graphics, or a custom designed flyer (to send home with students) depending on your preferences. Honestly, though, your sincere recommendation of these chalkboards is the best possible selling tool and is what will attract the most successful sales conversions for your campaign.

What’s the best way to share my fundraiser with others? 

The answer to this one is simple: We highly recommend sharing via email, text, and social media platforms - however you communicate with your people. As long as you’re not spamming people, feel free to share as often and on as many platforms as you’d like! Additionally, we're happy to make available email and social media templates that you can use if you would like to save the time of creating your own.

How do I get started?
