Meet the Owners
Hi, we're Sean and Caroline Allen, the owners of Chalk Full of Design and we're thrilled to be here! We've been self employed for pretty much our entire marriage and we love creating products for children and families. As parents of 9 children ages 21 all the way down to 1, we have a heart for the educational needs of young children.
What We Believe
Childhood is precious. It's also fleeting. Sadly our children are increasingly bombarded with technology in their schools and homes. Screens and apps can be useful, but more often than not traditional tools and methods are far more effective while presenting fewer distractions and temptations. We believe in creating products that encourage learning while also preserving the beautiful yet delicate hallmarks of childhood.
What We Do
To put it simply - we make chalkboards! There's a reason why chalkboards have been a mainstay of education for over 500 years. They're simple, engaging, tactile and beautiful to display. In a word, they're classic. All of our chalkboards are designed and crafted in Missouri and we personally use them in our own daily life. We consider it a joy and privilege to make them available to you!
